You know when people say “Oh, I’m an entrepreneur because I’m unemployable.” That is always a red flag to me, that person will never be a successful entrepreneur; the best entrepreneurs were the best employees. I gave a four month notice. I’ve been with that company for ten years. And I stayed there six months longer than I should have. I also gave four months’ notice, hired all of my replacements, trained them. And after I left I was still there to provide them with support and feedback. So I think the best entrepreneurs are the best employees. If you’re listening right now, and you’re an entrepreneur, and this is not working for you, you’re like, I don’t know why, but I’m not getting traction. I’m not making money. This isn’t working. Go get a job. I’m serious, get a job for at least a year. And your sole purpose in that job is to be the number one employee in that company. Then come out of that, and you will be a better entrepreneur.
